4 Month Update

I never would have thought 4 months would have went by so fast! My LiL Man is growing like crazy! His poor gums have been hurting more and more! He goes to the doctor for his 4 month check up this Thursday. I can't wait to see how much he is weighing now.

So far he has tried bananas, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, and peas. He has done a great job on all of them. He loves some carrots, which I hate lots of carrots while I was pregnant with him.

He does a great job at entertaining his Daddy and I!!! He cracks us up!!! He brings so much joy to our days!!! He rolled over for the first time the other day all by himself, but hasn't tried it again. We love helping him sit up and stand up. He is so strong.

A few weeks ago we went to visit my Fall Memaw and Colton's Great-Great Grandma. It was so sweet to see Fall Memaw and Colton talk. Colton was talking up a storm. I know it meant a lot to my Dad too. It was truly priceless.

We are already getting ready for BAMA football. We are counting down the days until the first game. Hopefully we will be taking Colton to his first BAMA game.

A Much Needed Update

Well Colton is growing like crazy! I was sitting in the bed this morning watching him sleep in my arms and thinking about who in two weeks he will be 3 months old and Chris and I will be having our 3rd anniversary. WoW!!! Time goes by so fast when you are having fun! Here are some new things that have happened in the past two weeks:

-Chris got a new truck
He really deserved a new truck! He works so hard and does a wonderful job taking care of Colton and I.
-I started back to school
I only have to take one class this summer and it's one on Wednesday. It's also a group exercise class, so I get to do a little bit of working out on there.
-Colton is holding his head up more on his own
If I'm folding clothes I will put Colton on his tummy time mat and he loves looking at himself in the mirror that is attached to his mat. Ive also been working with him on his leg strength by helping him to stand up. He really does a great job!!!
-Colton had his first road trip to Tennessee
We went to Tennessee because we were performing at Country Tonight Theatre. Colton was so awesome!!!! He was truly the best baby while we were there.
-Colton got his first air brush shirt
Aunt Shelley had to get Colton a air brush shirt while we were in Gatlinburg.
-I've started to workout everyday with my sister
Shelley and I have been helping each other to lose weight. Shelley wants to lose weight for her wedding and I'm just trying to get my body back into shape.

Now that things are getting a little easier around the house I will do my best to keep my blog up to date!!

Mr. Colton Allen Trice

On Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 3:19 p.m. Mr. Colton Allen Trice finally arrived. He weighed 7.12 and was 21.5 inches long. With that being said I'll start by telling you how the day got started.

Chris and I got to the hospital around 6:30/7:00 a.m. and we went straight to our room, 324 at St. Vincent's. Once we got in and they got me hooked up they were ready to break my water. Now I had came in that morning at 3 cm already. When my doctor broke my water not much came out, because she said Colton was so far down my pelvis he was blocking the water. She said that if my water had broke I probably didn't know it because he was blocking it. So there is a good chance that my water had already broke and I had no idea because tons of water didn't just come out at once. Once she was done with that she had to hook at montior up to him and again since he was so far done my pelvis she had to push him back up, which was honestly more painful that my contractions. My contractions weren't has bad as I had thought they would be. I tried to last as long as I could, but at the same time I didn't want to wait to long. So I got my epidural around 9:30-10:00 a.m. I believe. The epidural was amazing. I was so scared about getting a epidural and it was nothing. After the epidural had really set in my legs felt like they weighed 100 lbs each. I didn't feel a thing though. I forgot to mention that my Mom and Dad were there at 7:30 a.m. so lets just say my Mom and Dad loved watching the screen to see when I was having a contraction and had bad it was. They were laughing when I would be talking away when I was having a contraction after the epidural. About an hour after my epidural my amazing nurse came back in to check me and I was at 6 cm. Right after she walked out the door I looked to Chris and told him I felt like I was about to pass out. I really really didn't want to pass out because I hate the feeling and I didn't want to scare Chris. He said my lips had turned blue and my Mom went running out the door to catch the nurse. She came back in and gave me some medicine and said that my blood pressure had dropped to 95/55. After that I had no problems! At 1:20 p.m. I was finally 10 cm and ready to push. I couldn't believe it. Chris, my mom, and my sister got to stay in the room. Once we started pushing it seems like no time and the nurse was calling the doctor. So I had only pushed from 1:20 to 3:19 when he finally arrived. The whole time I was pushing Chris, my Mom, and sister were great motivators. I had the best cheerleaders!!! :) Colton did have a cone-shaped head becasue he was sitting in my pelvis for so long. The next day it was a perfect round shaped. After he was born Chris and I took time to ourselves before we let visitors come in. The first visitors were our grand-mothers and Colton's great grand-mothers. Chris was able to get it all on tape and it will be a great thing for us to share with Colton when he gets older. It was a special moment for me because Chris taped my Memaw and I talking and the other day when I watched it I started crying. It was truly a special time for both Colton and I. We came home on Thursday and my family came over to make us dinner and it was so good. I love watching my Dad when he has Colton because he talks in that cute voice. My Dad is so in love with Colton. I wouldn't want it any other way though. I'm so thankful that Colton has a Papaw that so in love with him. I'm so thankful to have great parents that I willing to help out whenever because it helps Chris and I so much. Here are so pictures of Mr. Colton at home.

Kriseal Kreations

Well Kriseal Kreations is finally starting up. First, let me explain the name Kriseal is a combination of Chris and Racheal. I replaced CH with K and the end of my name EAL= KRISEAL.

I first started with Colton's Baby Wreath and Kriseal Kreations was then created. Chris has been so supportive and excited for this new adventure.

Each wreath is created with two different styles of fabric. The wreaths that I have recently created have been made with fleece fabric. The prices for the wreaths are $35 for a wreath with two types of fabric and no add-ons. The price for a wreath with add-ons its $40. Colton's wreath is a example of a wreath with add-ons.

Here are the two newest wreaths. A Baby Girl Wreath and a BAMA wreath. The Baby Girl Wreath has add-onsl without the name. The Bama wreath has no add-ons.

Bama wreath is made of these two types of fabric.

I can do any colors or any theme. You can messages me on facebook and give your theme, colors, and if you would like any add-ons. I also have another Baby Girl Wreath coming soon.

Not To Much Longer

Tomorrow we will have 4 more weeks until Mr. Colton arrives unless he comes early. We are getting more and more excited. This past weekend Chris and I went to St. Vincent's to have our labor and delivery class. It was a pretty long day. We were there from 8:30 to 4:00. Lets just say we had tons of bathroom breaks. The funniest thing that happened was that another lady in the class has the same due date as I do and has the same doctor as I do. The only thing different is that she is having a girl. We both enjoyed learning everything because we feel better prepared. Afterwards we went to BabiesRus and got Colton's pack-n-play and put it up in our bedroom. I can't wait to wake up and see my little man in there. For my project this week I'm planning on making the wreath that will hang on the door when Colton arrives. I'm so excited I'm going to make a feather wreath with the safari theme. Hopefully it will turn out good. :)

I had my maternity pictures take and they turned out great! Beth Goggins did a wonderful job!!! I already have some of them hanging in the house. I also had my baby shower and Mr. Colton was very blessed that day. My Mom and Dad has redone my sister's old room and now it's Colton's nursery. They painted the walls, put new flooring down, and went and got him a baby bed. Lets just say they are very very excited as well. My Mom said my Dad will get home from work and just go and look in the room. She asked him what he was looking at and told him Colton wasn't in there yet. I love how excited they both are!

So far I've only gained 21 lbs, but since I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow that number might change. I haven't got any stretch marks on my belly mostly because I soak myself in the Palmer's lotion. the only thing that bothers me is my belly button piercing. If I could go back and change anything I would have never got my belly button pierced because my skin is so thin it has actually made two little stretch marks might where my piercing is. Overall, I would say I've had a great pregnancy. In the beginning it was a little rough with the morning sickness and then I had really bad heartburn, but once I got control over both of those problems I have been blessed with a great pregnancy. I give all the glory to the Lord.

4D Ultrasound of Baby Colton

This morning we had our 4D Ultrasound done and got to see our sweet little boy again. We were so excited to see how much he had changed and what features he had of ours. He was laying on his stomach facing down. The lady had to shake my belly to get him to turn over. The lady said he was weighing in around 3.5lbs, so far. She also said he had a good bit of hair already too. Here are some more pictures that we got.

Colton sticking his tongue out.

His arm and foot near his head.

He might have some big lips.

Colton giving the peace sign to Daddy. We laughed so hard when he did this.

His little mouth opening.

Getting Ready For Mr. Colton

This past Wednesday I went with my Mom, Nana, and Aunt Darlene to look at some baby stuff. We went to BabiesRus and I saw a three piece bed set on sale. I was so excited because we have been looking and looking for some furniture for Colton's room, but I didn't want to spend to much money. They had one piece at the store and the other two I had to order. Friday morning after I had just got out of the shower a truck pulls up at my house, now I wasn't thinking it would be the UPS man because they said the furniture wouldn't come in until next week. I threw on some clothes and went outside to see the UPS man putting two big boxes on the porch. I couldn't believe that the furniture had already came in. I was SOOOOO excited!!!! So once Chris got home Friday we started putting the combo unit together. I knew it was going to be a little hard because it had a lot of pieces. It took all night to put that thing together. Once we got up Saturday we started putting the 5 drawer dresser together and the crib. Around 1:00 we finally had everything put together, so we went to Wal-Mart to get a mattress.
